Suffolk, VA – Post-Acute COVID-19 Research Study
Post-Acute COVID-19, also known as long COVID or long-haul COVID, refers to the persistent and prolonged effects experienced by some individuals following a COVID-19 infection. While the acute phase of the illness typically lasts for a few weeks, post-acute COVID-19 symptoms can persist for months and significantly impact a person’s physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Common symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, brain fog, muscle weakness, joint pain, and mood disturbances. Additionally, individuals with post-acute COVID-19 may experience challenges in returning to their normal daily activities and may require ongoing medical care and rehabilitation to manage their symptoms effectively.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a Post-Acute COVID-19 study in our Suffolk, VA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
