Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women. It begins when cells in the breast grow abnormally and form a lump or mass. Early detection is key to successful treatment, so it’s important for women to receive regular screenings for breast cancer, such as mammograms and clinical breast exams. Treatment options vary depending on the type of breast cancer, but may include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormone therapy and targeted therapy. Breast cancer can be life-threatening if left untreated, but with early diagnosis and effective treatments, many women are able to beat the disease and achieve long-term survival.

Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a breast cancer study in our Columbus, GA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
