COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a type of lung disease that makes it hard to breathe. Generally, it is caused by smoking, but can also be caused by genetics or long-term exposure to pollutants such as dust or certain chemicals. Symptoms of COPD include frequent coughing, shortness of breath during activity, wheezing, and tightness in the chest. COPD can get worse over time and may even lead to more serious problems like heart failure.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a COPD study in our Rincon, GA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.

Qualifications
- Between the ages of 40 to 65 years of age
- Diagnosed with Stage 1 or 2 COPD
- Currently living with chronic bronchitis symptoms (sputum and cough)
- Been smoking for at least 10 years
