E. Coli Research Study
Suffolk, VA
E. coli is a type of bacteria that can cause a range of health problems, from mild diarrhea to severe infections that can be life-threatening. E. coli is usually found in the intestines of humans and animals, and it can get into food and water through contact with fecal matter. Eating undercooked or contaminated foods like meat, eggs, or dairy products can also cause E. coli infections. Symptoms of E. coli infections can include stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. Most people with E. coli infections recover on their own within a week or two, but in severe cases, hospitalization may be required.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in an E. coli vaccine study in our Suffolk, VA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
