Type 2 diabetes is a condition where your body can’t use insulin properly. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body use sugar for energy. When you have type 2 diabetes, your body either doesn’t make enough insulin or can’t use it effectively. This can cause sugar to build up in your blood, which can lead to a wide range of health problems. Type 2 diabetes can be caused by things like being overweight, having a sedentary lifestyle, and genetics. Symptoms of type 2 diabetes can include feeling thirsty, feeling tired all the time, and needing to urinate more frequently.

Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a Type 2 diabetes study in our Suffolk, VA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
