Hypertriglyceridemia Research Study
High triglycerides is a condition where you have too much of a type of fat called triglycerides in your blood. Triglycerides are important for your body to function properly, but when you have too much of them, they can be harmful to your health. High triglycerides can be caused by things like eating a diet high in sugar and carbohydrates, drinking too much alcohol, and being overweight or obese. Triglycerides can also be affected by things like genetics, hormonal imbalances, and certain medications. Most people with high triglycerides don’t have any symptoms, so it’s important to get your levels checked regularly. If you have high triglycerides, your doctor may suggest making lifestyle changes like eating a healthy diet, limiting your intake of sugary and alcoholic beverages, and being physically active.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a high triglycerides study in our Columbus, GA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
