Hypothyroidism Research Study
Clinic: Endocrine Consultants
Location: Columbus, GA
Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) is a condition in which your thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough of certain crucial hormones. Hypothyroidism may not cause noticeable symptoms in the early stages. Over time, untreated hypothyroidism can cause a number of health problems, such as obesity, joint pain, infertility, and heart disease.
The primary objective of this study is to compare the proportion of patients on ST-1891 and levothyroxine sodium (hereafter referred to as levothyroxine) with thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels within the standard reference range per central laboratory testing at Week 26.
