Shingles/Zoster Vaccine Research Study
Columbus, GA

Shingles is an infection caused by varicella-zoster virus (VZV), the same virus that causes chickenpox. After you have had chickenpox, the virus stays in your body and can reappear as shingles. Shingles is most common in older adults and can cause severe pain with skin rash or blisters along with fever, headaches, chills, upset stomach, and fatigue. It’s important to get vaccinated against shingles to reduce your risk of developing this painful condition.

We are currently conducting a clinical study exploring a new investigational vaccine for shingles. In order to take part in our study you must meet the following criteria:

Qualified participants can receive:

  • Compensation up to $1,400 for time and travel
  • Study-related care at no cost

Study Duration: 15 months

Location:  Centricity Research, 800 Talbotton Road, Columbus, GA 31904
