Pancreatic cancer is a type of cancer that affects the pancreas, an organ located near the stomach and the intestine. It often has no symptoms in its early stages, so it can be hard to detect until it has spread to other parts of the body. When present, its symptoms may include abdominal pain, yellowed skin, weight loss, jaundice, and fatigue. The exact cause is unknown but it is believed to be linked to genetic factors as well as risk factors such as smoking and obesity.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a pancreatic cancer study in our Columbus, GA location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
