Psoriasis plaques appear as raised, inflamed, and scaly patches of skin that may also be itchy and painful. They usually appear on elbows, knees, lower back, and scalp. Plaque psoriasis is not an infection, and it is not contagious. However, irritated patches of psoriasis can become infected.
Qualifications
- 18-70 years of age
- History of plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months prior to the screening visit.
- No significant flare in psoriasis for at least 3 months before screening.
