Resistant hypertension (high blood pressure) is a condition where your blood pressure remains high or uncontrolled despite the medications you take to lower it. People with hard-to-treat, resistant hypertension have a higher risk of stroke, kidney disease, and heart failure than people whose high blood pressure is controlled.
Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- Diagnosed with primary resistant hypertension for at least 6 months.
- Currently being treated with 2 antihypertensive drugs or 2 antihypertensive drugs + a diuretic.
Compensation
