Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation and ulcers in your digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis affects the innermost lining of your large intestines and rectum. Ulcerative colitis can develop at any age, but is more likely to develop in people between the ages of 15 and 30.
Qualifications
- 18-75 years of age
- Diagnosed with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months
Study Duration
Overall study duration for an individual participant will be up to 4 weeks screening period; 8 weeks induction phase; up to 44 weeks maintenance phase; and 26 weeks open-label extension.
