Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation and ulcers in your digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis affects the innermost lining of your large intestines and rectum. Ulcerative colitis can develop at any age, but is more likely to develop in people between the ages of 15 and 30.
Qualifications
- 18-79 years of age
- Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months
- Moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis
- Colonoscopy performed in the past 12 months
